Episode 2-4 – Come See the Goblin Games

I look into the world of Live Action RolePlaying (LARP or LARPing for short) by going to the Goblin Games held be the Amtgard group Blightstone Hallow. See the people in the costumes with foam weapons in a free for all battle with goblins just to be annoying.

I haven’t posted anything in awhile. I do have 2 episodes coming up in July. I am not going to tell you what they are about. I want to keep that a surprise. Also I want to know who my fans are, so make a comment saying where you’re from and what you like about the podcast.

Episode 2-3 – We Have an App for That.

Over the past few years Smart Phones and Tablets have been popular with a large array of applications for them.  I will be talking to AppRochester about what it is like to create those apps.

Radical Geek on the Sound of Tomorrow

April 13 I teamed up with my friends from the Sound of Tomorrow (www.soundoftomorrow.com). I videoed them for a future episode of the Radical Geek. I was a guest on their podcast. Talked about the Rochester, NY geek scene and my podcast. I had a lot of fun, and can’t wait for it to go up.

Planning

This is some of the notes I have for topics planning for season 2.

iTunes, Blubrry, and Blip.TV

I feel I need to get my podcast on iTunes. Only problem is iTunes is that it doesn’t run on linux. I have to figure it out in getting on under wine. I tried that and it didn’t work, and now I am looking at other ways to get them posted. A few suggestion from a podcasters group on Facebook lead me to blubrry.com. I switched to YouTube and there isn’t any download link and to get a premium listing I need to get download links for video. I could do that with Blip.TV. Blip also has a way to summit to iTunes. Will be going back to that. Also I will need to change the format to QuickTime(mov).

Update on Season 2 and a call out to my fans.

I thought that when I had season 1 done season 2 would be easier. I was wrong, it is harder because the show has to be fresh. I also had issues with potential episodes where I didn’t have time because of other obligations like I am helping out for BSidesRoc and I might not have the time to do my show and run the A/V for it. So I want ask my fans if there is something you’re part of that you think would make a good episode just leave a reply or email me. I would love the feedback.
