Sound Quality

Just listening to my latest episode and I find that the sound quality could be better. I need to get a better setup.

Episode 1-2: BarCamp Rochester

In this Episode I went to BarCamp Rochester at the Rochester Institute Technology in Rochester, NY. This convention is called an unconvention. That means that people that come have a presentation prepared and will pick a time slot in one of the reserved room. Not only did they have presentation but also there was the local hacker space Interlock Rochester, The RIT student organization call Security Practices and Research Student Association(SPARSA) had a lock picking demonstration, and Innovation Trail from NPR was there interview people in their sound booth.

New Video Host: Blip.tv

Working on Episode 2 and I have switched from Vimeo to Blip.tv as my video host. The advantages is that it will let me include links to download the video so you can place it on a smart phone or media device. Also it will let my video be distributed itunes.

Kickstarter

I’m thinking of starting a kickstarter page on getting a proper video camera and tripod.

Getting Ready for Barcamp.

I hope to see all you Radical Geeks from Rochester, NY at BarCamp.  Look for the guy with the Droid X phone recording.

Vimeo or Blip.tv?

I have been giving some serious thought about changing my hosting of my video from Vimeo to Blip.tv.  I’m thinking of switching to Blip.tv is because an old video podcast called Glacticast used it.  I will have to check that out.

Revamping the Radical Geek.

The Radical Geek is going through some changes to improve the Podcast expirence.  I’ll been watching the Podcast Answer Man’s video tutorial on having an a Podcast.  Look forward to a new setup.

Looking into a new media hosting service

XML
